Introduction
I enjoy strategy games & not the simplistic type sold at lg. retails stores so that is why I joined this group. my favs, not in any order, are: jamaica, PR, isla doroda, pillars of earth,etc. I'm about games w/ an interesting theme & play board.
Would you like to erase the brain-washing that Monopoly-type games have caused over the years?

Without sounding TOO much like a pick-up line, are you 18+ years old, easy-going, and have any interest in learning a game that you've never played before?
The selection of games that this group's members own is fantastic and fun! at meetup events, I always play 1-2 new games. people just love playing their new games, and so that is great.
If you have played a game before, would you be willing to show other members how to play?
of course, though I don't own nearly as many as some others in this group. I can teach the games that I own
Would you be able to appreciate the ideals and mechanics of the game, thus thwarting your original plans of solely annihilating your competion? Don't worry, you're still scheduled for world domination the following day ;)
some of the games (eg. pantheon, macao) have such level of complexity & stuff that players need to keep track of, that it can zap the fun factor of the game, and make time go really slowly.
Though all areas are welcome...do you live in the College Area? If not, what part of town you're coming from, stranger?
